Ground Source

Pipework ran through the ground, absorbs heat which is transferred to your heating system.

A loop is buried in a trench or bore hole. Between 100-200 metres is required and if land space is limited it can be spread over several bore holes which together would total 100-200 metres. This can therefore be expensive to install.

The land where the ground source is installed cannot be developed upon as this will inhibit the capacity of the ground source. Therefore careful consideration must be taken regarding installation location.

They have an estimated life-span of 40 years.
